St. Louis Metallizing now has two ASQ-Certified Six Sigma Black Belts:

Press release dated October 12, 2010:  The Certification Board of ASQ (American Society for Quality) is please to announce that John W. Passmore has completed the requirements to be named an ASQ-Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (ASQ CSSBB).  As such, John W. Passmore has reached a significant level of professional recognition, indicating a proficiency in and a comprehension of Six Sigma principles and practices.

John has joined our Operations Manager, Joe Bell, in achieving this status - Congratulations John.
 
SLM-Nadcap Coatings Recertified PDF Print E-mail

St. Louis Metallizing has reached another milestone by successfully passing the NADCAP re-certification process for "Coatings" which covers the following thermal spray processes:  High Velocity Oxy Fuel (HVOF), Plasma Thermal Spray, Combustion Wire Spray, Combustion Powder Spray and Electric Arc Wire Spray.  SLM was able to pass this re-certification audit with only one minor finding.  Thanks to everyone at SLM who made this happen.
