Cylinder exchange is a library for presses that cannot stop while a roll lives in a grind bay. You run a service cylinder; St. Louis Metallizing strips, sprays, and finishes yours; then the cores swap back on a date someone actually watches.

The chemistry is the same as printing work: waterjet strip, coating, diamond, super finish, taper when the journals demand it. The logistics are the extra trade.
