ISO 9001 and FAA certification at St. Louis Metallizing mean the part and the paper travel together. A pretty coating with no traveler is scrap that has not been named yet.

Receiving checks identity and damage. The traveler lists process, powder or wire lot, grind wheels, and who stamped each step. Certified taper gages, a vision system for gap radius, and Level II NDT — including fluorescent penetrant — are how “close enough” stays out of the crate.
